12 × 9 in | 2 Color Screenprint
270gsm Bagdad Colorplan
Edition: 30 | Du-Good Press, 2025
This print was made free of computer assistance. Cassandra Mayela Allen drew each layer using opaque wax markers on clear acetate. She then chose a Colorplan paper and decided what colors to print by pulling selections from an original issue Pantone Color Specifier Swatch Book.
Allen was assisted by Naia Bautista in mixing the chartreuse color on press by drizzling, drawing, and throwing adjacent colored inks at the screen while I printed.
