Black Zine Fair + Collective Screenprinting Workshop

I’ll be an exhibitor and workshop host at the Black Zine Fair organized by Sojourners for Justice Press! Come make and trade zines, take a workshop, browse 100+ exhibitors, or lounge in the reading room!

Collective Screenprinting Workshop 4-5:30pm

The folded zine is a document of cooperation that brings power to the people

In this workshop, we practice screen printing as a collective endeavor—where creativity flows through shared effort and vision. Together, we will design, print, and assemble a zine that embodies the power of cooperation. Through each step of the process, participants will contribute their distinct perspectives, learning from each other while weaving their individual contributions into a cohesive work.

Whether you're new to screen printing or have prior experience, this workshop highlights the strength of collective creation, leaving you with both a set of new skills and a finished zine that celebrates collaboration.

Abrons Arts Center x IMPULSE Magazine Seeing Multiples: Print Editions, Value, and Affordability in a Changing Art Market

This panel brings together perspectives across the art ecosystem—appraisal, collecting, fair infrastructure, publishing, and artistic practice—to examine how visual art is valued and accessed in these shifting conditions. Inspired by the recent release of a limited-edition print of Sun Chimes Through the Summer Song by Emily Manwaring, produced by Du-Good Press in support of Abrons Arts Center, this conversation will explore the role print editions can play for art supporters interested in affordable collecting, the realities shaping the art market, and how ideas of value and ownership can be reconsidered.

Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair Du-Good Press - Booth E4

Du-Good Press is pleased to exhibit in the second annual Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair! Experience a wide array of prints and meet their makers.

Leaning into my background as an educator, invited artists were encouraged to create works informed by real world editing, proofing, and refining prints through layers of color communicated through the most versatile print medium ever, Screenprinting!

This new selection of prints & books represents an extended hand. For me sharing the joys of printmaking, for them, generously making a mark in the pages of Du-Good Press.
